Description
Beautiful cameo necklace features a 1-1/2″ openwork gold tone pendant with double cameo features on a carnelian color background.  Accented by golden topaz rhinestone cabochons and textured 16″ link chain.
Cameos are always excellent fashion accessory choices to reflect the gentle, romantic periods in our history. The term cameo originally meant carving a design into a single material in bas-relief. They were usually done using shell, stone or other suitable materials. More modern cameos feature laser, early plastics and composition for the carving base. Clean your cameos gently, using a brush or canned-air for crevices. Watch out for temperature changes that can cause cracking especially in gemstone or shell and always put your jewelry on after any sprays or oils.

About Our Items
Most of our items are vintage or used unless we tell you otherwise. Expect the item to be in “Vintage” as found condition. For jewelry items, this includes the “softening” of vintage stones as well as normal age patina presentation and normal or vintage wear. We try to give as much information as possible on the item as well as showing front and back images when available.
Most jewelry items
will come boxed ready for storing or gifting. If you buy multiple items, let us know if you want separate boxes for each item. (This will increase postage costs).
Minor surface cleaning may be performed but we do not thoroughly clean our items Or do repairs
except as noted in the description
, leaving that to the preference of the buyer. If there are any serious problems that reflect excess wear, damage, visible repairs, or concern, we will try to include it in the description. I do try to identify unmarked metals or stones but I am not a gemologist and cannot guarantee unmarked items. All items are sold as found in vintage age appropriate condition.
