Evah Pirazzi strings for bass are developed to provide a beautiful richness and range of colors and nuances that is similar to a gut core string. A hybrid set, these strings provide an excellent bow response and long pizzicato sustain. All strings are chrome steel wound on an exclusive synthetic core and polished to a smooth surface. Made in Germany.
Due to the reduced string tension, the playability of the new Weich (weak/light) Set is very easy. The string tension of the Weichs on an average 3/4 size bass is about 10% lower compared to the “Standard” set. According to Pirastro, The Weich Set has a “pronounced core sound” and the sound is brighter and growlier with a little more sustain.
